AtlantiCare Behavioral Health’s (ABH) Child and Adolescent Outpatient Services provides behavioral health care to individuals from three to 17 years of age and their families. ABH’s Child and Adolescent Services encourages client and family involvement in all stages of treatment services include: Individual Counseling, Family Counseling, Psychiatric Evaluations with Medication Monitoring and Group Therapy. Child Protection and Permanency
Child Protection and Permanency, CP&P (formerly the Division of Youth and Family Services, DYFS), is New Jersey's child protection and child welfare agency within the Department of Children and Families. Its mission is to ensure the safety, permanency and well-being of children and to support families. CP&P is responsible for investigating allegations of child abuse and neglect and, if necessary, arranging for the child's protection and the family's treatment. The Child Abuse Hotline (State Central Registry) receives all reports of child abuse and neglect 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. 1-877-NJ-ABUSE / 1-877-652-2873

Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (Children’s Mobile Response)
Mobile Response and Stabilization Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to help children and youth who are experiencing emotional or behavioral crises. The services are designed to defuse an immediate crisis, keep children and their families’ safe, and maintain the children in their own homes or current living situation (such as a foster home, treatment home or group home) in the community. National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

NJ Domestic Violence Hotline

PerformCare New Jersey utilizes significant expertise and integrated technologies to register, authorize, and coordinate services for children, youth, and young adults who are experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges, are impacted by substance use treatment needs, or have an intellectual/developmental disability. We provide access to the right care at the right time. This unique partnership between parents, family support organizations, service providers, and care managers provides a central support group for children and youth in need, with parents and caregivers as the primary force behind the planning and treatment process.

Psychiatric Intervention Program (PIP):

2nd Floor Youth Helpline
This is a youth helpline serving all youth and young adults in New Jersey. Youth who call are assisted with their daily life challenges by professional staff and trained volunteers. Anonymity and confidentiality are assured except in life-threatening situations.
